5 BEST TIMES TO TALK WITH YOUR CHILD



Communication with your child is vital. The following guide will help you when is the right time to talk to them.

1) Bath Time: This maybe the best time for an exchange of ideas. Your child is relaxed and comfortable, and there are few distractions.

2) Drive Time: Turn off the radio and DVD player. Discuss issues that you are facing. Ask your child his or her opinions. You will be rewarded with ideas and wisdom.

3) Bedtime: This is the time to be loving, supportive and understanding. It is important to be forgiving and let go of the mistakes of the day

4) Wake-up Time: 10 minutes of quite snuggling, encouraging, whispers and gentle waking can set a triumphant tone for any child's day.

5) Anytime: Treasure the rare moment when your child initiates the conversation. If your child has gotten up the courage or trust to find you and have a talk, ask a question, or seek your advice, honor it with your time and attention.
